Footrests and Handlebars

By Mike Savidge

Both hands must be on the handlebars, and you're not allowed to carry any person or ride in any position that will interfere with the control and operation of the motorcycle.

Any motorcycle carrying a passenger must have footrests for the passenger unless they're riding in a sidecar or enclosed cab. Handlebar height cannot exceed the top of the shoulders of the person operating the motorcycle while seated on the motorcycle.
